Inside Anfield: 360° video

A challenging shoot – providing sound recordings for a promotional tour of Anfield, shot on a 360° camera rig. I utilised my usual workflow of multitrack recording with hidden radio mics on talent, but also covered every scene with a different combination of stereo mic techniques. The usual trick of keeping all mics behind the camera lens doesn’t work on a 360° rig as everything is in shot, therefore some clever hiding and equipment needed to be utilised.

The client was very happy with the end result, and the final film ended up winning an International Marketing Campaign Of The Year at the BT Sports Industry Awards.
